Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification Required
- A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
- A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory. Alternatively, candidates with B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. or a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution are also eligible.
Age Limit
- The upper age limit for candidates is 30 years, with relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Government servants: Up to 5 years.
DSSSB PGT Recruitment Selection Process
The selection for DSSSB PGT posts will be based on a Tier-I written examination. The exam will comprise two sections:
- Section I (100 marks): Includes General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Hindi, and Numerical Aptitude.
- Section II (200 marks): Subject-specific questions and teaching methodology.

- Negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for each wrong answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks are:
- General/EWS: 40%
- OBC: 35%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
